Operational Problem Solving
- Take increasing ownership of routine employee, staffing, project, and client issues.
- During the initial development period, work closely with the Director of On-Site Safety Operations.
- Progress from bringing an issue forward, to recommending a solution, to handling the issue and reporting back, and ultimately to handling routine matters independently.
- Coach, manage, and correct employees while recognizing that termination, significant pricing, contractual, financial, and staffing commitments require appropriate leadership approval.
Emergency Field Support
- Maintain enough construction and safety capability to provide temporary field support during a genuine emergency or critical client situation.

- Recognize additional client staffing or safety needs and be comfortable beginning that conversation before involving senior leadership.
- Significant pricing, contract, and financial discussions remain with the Director of On-Site Safety Operations and/or company President.
Training & Development
The Regional Manager should expect to work very closely with the Director of On-Site Safety Operations for approximately the first six months. This period is designed to provide firsthand exposure to Progressive Safety's clients, employees, expectations, culture, site visits, interviews, onboarding, difficult conversations, staffing issues, and operational decision-making.
Responsibility and autonomy will increase as the individual demonstrates sound judgment, earns trust, and develops a strong understanding of how Progressive Safety expects situations to be handled.
