A leading healthcare provider seeks a Regional Manager, Compliance to implement and evaluate compliance programs across multiple facilities. The role entails ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, training staff, and consulting on compliance issues, requiring strong regulatory knowledge and a commitment to confidentiality.
Job Summary:
The Regional Manager, Compliance reports to the VP, Compliance in the implementation and evaluation of Westchester Medical Center Health Network Compliance Program, specifically the WMC Health locations in Orange and Rockland County, by monitoring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. Responsibilities include providing consultation, assisting with audits relating hospital policies and procedures, including the review of medical records, HIPAA, training and education, investigations, and support on compliance issues to Administrators, Physicians and all levels of staff.
Responsibilities:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory management in a large tertiary academic hospital or healthcare facility.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, required. Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, preferred.
Licenses / Certifications:
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), preferred
