Job summary

Self-Help seeks a Regional Manager to join the Vallejo, CA team. You will lead Retail Operations, staff development, and strategic planning to advance the organization’s mission of economic justice across branches in the region.

You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 10 years in banking with 5 in management, and strong leadership, compliance, and community relations skills. Travel is required; competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• 10 years of banking experience including at least 5 years in a management capacity.
• Strong commitment to the mission of economic opportunity for all, especially underserved communities.
• Knowledge of financial services policies, regulatory compliance, and banking products/services.
• Excellent leadership, people management, and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains operational integrity across branches in the region, directing servicing and development of new business.
• Leads staff development, coaching, performance appraisals, and training, including compliance and security procedures.
• Drives strategic planning, budgeting, and regional goals alignment with organizational priorities.
• Organizes external new business development, builds community relations, and expands partnerships.
• Ensures branch compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; manages risks and loss prevention.
