The John Stewart Company in San Francisco is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee daily operations of a portfolio of affordable housing communities. You will implement management procedures, ensure compliance with HUD/LIHTC and related regulations, and lead on-site teams to optimize performance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, financial oversight, marketing, resident relations, and staff development, with a focus on quality service and regulatory adherence across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple properties or portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of HUD LIHTC CHRP CHFA requirements.
• Ability to lead and develop diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and develop onsite staff in line with policy.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and company policies.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to optimize occupancy and revenue.
• Manage rent collections, delinquencies and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate capital improvements and property maintenance.
• Foster positive resident relations and community engagement.
