Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a portfolio of affordable housing communities across the country. You will sharpen operations, guide financial performance, and build high-performing on-site teams, ensuring compliance and resident satisfaction.

You'll partner with Community Directors, conduct weekly site visits, review monthly financials, and own corrective action plans to drive strong occupancy and NOI across your portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of property management experience.
• LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and state program knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% across portfolio.
• Proficiency with RealPage/OneSite, Yardi, or Fortress.

Responsibilities

• Track property performance (NOI, occupancy, bad debt, management fees) against budget.
• Maintain a near-daily on-site presence across portfolio (min 4 days/week) with weekly site visits.
• Review monthly financials with Community Directors and identify variances.
• Own action plans for underperforming assets and drive portfolio strategy.
• Oversee AR/AP performance and communicate with Asset Management.
