Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a geographic utility construction region, overseeing multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and contract compliance.

You will manage PMs, Construction Managers, and field staff, own the region’s P&L, build client relationships, support proposals and contract reviews, and travel within the region to support projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in utility construction.
• 5+ years in operations leadership or division leadership.
• Strong substation construction experience.
• Experience managing multiple large utility construction projects.
• Proven P&L ownership and financial management.
• Experience leading PMs, Construction Managers, and field teams.

Responsibilities

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of utility construction experience
• 5+ years in operations leadership, project management leadership, or division leadership
• Strong substation construction experience
• Experience managing multiple large utility construction projects at once
• Experience with project budgets, forecasting, and profitability
• Proven P&L ownership and financial management experience
• Experience leading Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field teams
• Contractor or EPC experience preferred
• Strong understanding of contracts, estimating, scheduling, project controls, and risk management
• Experience managing resources, equipment, vendors, and subcontractors
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships High-voltage substation construction
• Battery Energy Storage System projects
• EPC and Design-Build delivery
• Utility clients including investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and renewable developers
