Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior leader to own Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) practices and operational discipline across the CMS West Region and Gulfstream accounts. You will drive Lean transformation, oversee regional chemical management, and guide teams to improve process reliability and regulatory compliance.

Based in Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA, you will travel up to 50%, collaborate with sales, marketing, purchasing, and engineering, and report directly to the USCA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Engineering, or Operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership/supervisory role within Supply Chain or Operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Based in Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA and able to work in-person Mon-Thu with flexible Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety and Quality initiatives while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Oversee regional chemical management across CMS West Region and Gulfstream customers.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Enterprise tools and metrics.
• Develop and monitor KPIs; collaborate with CMS East region and cross-functional teams.
• Report to USCA ASC Network Director and manage regional operations across US and Mexico.

Job description

• Lead by example in Safety and Quality, ensuring operational discipline and compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Monitor and review Environmental, Health, and Safety performance and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee regional chemical management for PPG Aerospace's CMS West Region and centralized Gulfstream customer
• Contribute to strategic plans and implement a unified operational strategy with the CMS Operations team
• Manage and implement best practices using Lean Enterprise tools and metrics to improve network productivity
• Establish, monitor, and improve key performance metrics for the CMS West Aerospace ASC Network team
• Analyze and improve processes and capital utilization across the region
• Oversee inventory levels and facilitate communication between the ASC Region and CMS Platform
• Lead EH&S improvements and implement preventative actions
• Manage the implementation and launch of new CMS programs in the CMS West Region
• Partner with the CMS East Regional Manager on standardization, continuous improvement, and KPIs
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, purchasing, and engineering teams to meet customer and company goals
• Report directly to the USCA ASC Network Director
• Oversee chemical management operations across the Western and Central portions of the United States and Mexico

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial role within Supply Chain, Category Management, Operations, or a related role preferred
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Must be based in the Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA area
• In-person work Monday through Thursday, with remote work opportunity on Flexible Fridays
• Experience with Lean Enterprise tools and metrics is required for the described responsibilities
