Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Seattle seeks a Managed Care Regional Coordinator to ensure accessibility and quality at northern sites. The role provides training, supervision, and support to the Managed Care staff, and collaborates with clinic managers.

Requirements include a BA in health sciences/marketing/business and 2+ years in managed care; bilingual in English/Spanish; strong communication and reporting skills. Salary is hourly at 31.25 USD; benefits included.

Qualifications

• BA degree in health sciences, marketing, education or business with at least two years in a managed care or health care setting.
• Two additional years of direct managed care experience may substitute for formal education.
• TB test and annual background check required; valid WA driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
• Annual influenza vaccine required; pre-hire and annual health screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing goals, policies, and procedures for all operational areas of Managed Care.
• Strengthen new market areas and promote health coverage awareness.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plans at local and system level.
• Coordinate hiring, interviews, training, and oversight with the Multicultural Services Director.
• Monitor policy changes and inform staff; ensure site staffing meets needs.
• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with policies and quality guidelines.
• Review benchmarks to improve health care access; analyze production reports.
