Job Title: Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Corporate Office

Reports to: Director of Maintenance

Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Job Summary:

The Regional Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the maintenance operations of multiple multifamily communities within a designated region. This role ensures that all properties meet company standards for preventive maintenance, safety, compliance, maintenance personnel development, and resident satisfaction. The Regional Maintenance Supervisor provides training, guidance, and support to on-site maintenance teams and collaborates closely with Community and Regional Managers, and other senior leaders within the PM Division to optimize maintenance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Oversee, train, and mentor maintenance teams, including Maintenance Supervisors, Technicians, Groundskeepers/Porters and vendor relationships across the region.
  • Establish and enforce maintenance standards, policies, and procedures to ensure safety, consistency and efficiency across the designated region.
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate team performance, equipment condition, safety compliance, and property upkeep.
  • Collaborate with on-site managers & supervisors to facilitate solutions for operational and maintenance needs.


Maintenance Operations

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the long-term health of building systems, structures, tools and equipment.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of service requests, unit-turnover, and capital projects.
  • Coordinate property inspections to identify maintenance needs, potential hazards, and areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fire, safety, and environmental laws. Report and address all deficiencies promptly and thoroughly.
  • Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and other OSHA standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation thereof.
  • Oversee miscellaneous special projects, as assigned.
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts and provide support during after-hours incidents.


Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections for code compliance, safety, and quality assurance.
  • Promote a culture of safety and enforce adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Experience developing and managing operational budgets.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Certifications such as CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician)
    • EPA Universal or similar
    • CPO Certification
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 per year, plus bonuses

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent travel between properties within the portfolio. A valid Driver’s License is required for this position.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities, including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
  • On-call availability for after-hours calls and emergencies, as needed.
