Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across multiple markets, drive cost-saving strategies, and standardize practices for durability and safety. The role will leverage data-driven insights to enhance asset performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of supervisory maintenance experience across various building types, strong HVAC and repair skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable relative experience is required.
• 7–10 years of progressive maintenance experience with supervisory duties.
• Experience with mid-rise, high-rise, townhomes, and other building types.
• Extensive HVAC expertise across system types.
• Demonstrated carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general repair skills.
• CPO certification if required on site.
• REAC or HUD experience is preferred.
• Strong English communication; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train regional maintenance staff and contractors.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans for all properties.
• Analyze service data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify and coordinate staff training needs.
• Enforce safety programs and site safety standards.
• Assign personnel for routine maintenance and emergencies.
• Inspect properties and ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Document maintenance activities with site inspection forms.
• Standardize shops, inventories, and PPE across sites.
• Provide maintenance support for new property acquisitions.
• Use data to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with national purchase programs and vendor networks.
• Attend owner walks and provide feedback; support Lease Up RM as needed.
• Assist with hiring interviews and training coordination.
• Track warranty items and complete 11‑month warranty walks.

Education

Bachelor's degree or comparable relative experience

7–10 years maintenance supervisory experience

Experience with multiple building types

HVAC systems proficiency

Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general repair

CPO certification (on site)

REAC or HUD experience

English communication skills (oral & written)

Spanish language (preferred)
