You will monitor repair orders, invoices, and maintenance data, while traveling 25–50% to support regional initiatives and performance reviews. Strong technical credentials and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of lead technician experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Air brake certification FMCSR 396.25 is required.
• DOT CMV inspector certification is required.
• EPA 609 certification for motor vehicle A/C repair is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Advanced computer knowledge is required.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% to regional shops.

Responsibilities

• Oversee home shop operations and regional shop locations; ensure safe maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Mentor and support Lead Technicians and Shop Foremen.
• Review vendor work orders, estimates, and invoices for accuracy and fair pricing.
• Monitor maintenance systems, repair orders, PMs, and labor logs to ensure compliance.
• Travel to shops within designated regions to support maintenance initiatives and data collection.
• Provide feedback to management on technician performance and staffing needs.
