Zusammenfassung

KAG SERVICES INC is seeking a Sr. Lead Technician in West Sacramento, CA. This role oversees the home shop operations and regional shop locations, guiding repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe operation.

The Sr. Lead Technician mentors Lead Technicians and acts as the first point of contact for shop staff. Travel to shops within designated regions is required to support maintenance initiatives and regional operations.

Qualifikationen

5 years of Lead Technician experience.
Minimum 5 years of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance & repair.
Air brake certification per FMCSR 396.25.
Certified DOT commercial motor vehicle inspector per FMCSR.
EPA 609 certification (Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair).
Valid driver’s license.
Advanced computer knowledge.
Willing to travel 25-50%.

Aufgaben

Direct shop leads and terminal managers in data-based maintenance decisions.
Monitor repair orders, purchase orders, warranty items, and PM reports.
Review vendor repair orders and authorize work.
Travel to regional shops to support maintenance initiatives.
Maintain OOS logs and fleet readiness.
Provide reports and metrics to Director of Maintenance and Regional Operations.
Assist with interviewing potential new techs.
