Job summary

RegalCare is seeking an experienced Regional Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance operations across our Massachusetts facilities. You will lead physical plant teams, ensure Life Safety Code compliance, and help create safe, efficient environments for residents and staff.

This leadership role requires travel within Massachusetts, strong budgeting, vendor management, and collaboration with facility leadership to support surveys and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive maintenance leadership in long-term care.
• Deep knowledge of physical plant systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Familiar with Life Safety Code compliance and surveys.

• We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Regional Maintenance Director to oversee multiple long-term care facilities across Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing physical plant systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting facility teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance operations for multiple facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Life Safety Code regulations and state/federal requirements.
  • Direct and support facility maintenance teams in preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections.
  • Participate in and prepare facilities for state and federal surveys.

  Requirements:

  • Extensive long-term care experience in a maintenance leadership role.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel within Massachusetts.
