American Senior Communities is hiring a Regional Maintenance Director in Indianapolis, IN. The role mentors and supports maintenance personnel, conducts inspections, and ensures life safety and privacy compliance across ASC facilities.

Ideal candidates have significant maintenance supervision experience, a high school diploma, and a valid Indiana driver’s license. Trade school in maintenance is preferred; PPE and HIPAA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to five years in building maintenance.
• At least 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with multifacility supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required; trade school preferred.
• Must have a valid Indiana Operator’s License.

Responsibilities

• Make general inspections and recommended maintenance repairs at assigned facilities.
• Mentor, train and support property maintenance personnel.
• Manage and assist properties in correcting State Board of Health and Life Safety deficiencies.
• Lead completing life Safety pre-survey inspections as assigned.
• Assist property leadership in interviewing and screening candidates for maintenance positions.
• Comply with HIPAA and privacy practices for resident and employee records.
• Ensure PPE usage per Bloodborne Pathogens Standards and PPE guidelines.
• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain regular attendance to deliver quality care.

American Senior Communities is now hiring a Regional Maintenance Director

The Regional Maintenance Director mentors, trains, and supports property maintenance personnel, and possesses the ability to work independently, providing guidance and technical advice to maintenance repairs at ASC facilities.

Essential Position Functions

• Make general inspections and recommended maintenance repairs at assigned facilities.
• Mentor, train and support property maintenance personnel.
• Manages and assists properties in correcting State Board of Health and Life Safety deficiencies.
• Leads completing life Safety pre-survey inspections as assigned.
• Assists property leadership in interviewing and screening candidates for maintenance positions.
• Complies with the property’s privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and all state and federal privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and all state and federal privacy laws as outlined by HIPAA.
• Complies with and adheres to the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the Bloodborne Pathogens Standards. Protective Personal Equipment (PPE), including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, extremities, protective clothing, and protective shield and barriers, will be provided, used, and maintained.
• Demonstrates teamwork and prompt and regular attendance to work to ensure that quality care and services are provided to the patients we serve.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Education and Qualifications
