Job summary

Diligent Delivery US seeks a Regional Director to lead Logistics and Transportation across Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. You will drive operational excellence, cost control, and continuous improvement while building high-performing cross-functional teams.

The role requires frequent travel (up to 75%) and strong leadership to engage customers, optimize routing, and partner with corporate to meet performance targets and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Proven experience in transportation and logistics management across multiple states.
• Strong leadership across warehousing, transportation, procurement and distribution.
• Proficiency in data analysis to inform decisions and improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams and partners.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of regional locations including full P&L accountability.
• Customer account management.
• Prospecting, presenting, negotiating & closing new business.
• Develop, maintain, and report on Key Performance Metrics.
• Transportation network design with routing focus and KPI auditing.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Resolve service failures and drive continuous improvement.
• Liaison between multiple business units within the region.
• Monitor data accuracy and coordinate with departments to resolve.
• Compile and analyze historical data to monitor trends and bids.
• Articulate cost-saving opportunities to Executive leadership.
• Travel to markets to audit operations and suggest improvements.
• Oversee driver routes and handle driver issues in the region.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting on invoicing and payments.
• Plan and implement policies, procedures, and programs for operations.
• Maintain reports for region and submit to corporate.
