Position Purpose:
The Corporate Regional Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing projects that enhance logistics performance, ensure resource planning and budget compliance, and support audit readiness. This role plays a key part in managing multiple Operating Company (OpCo) logistics operations and supporting the coordination of efforts across business segments.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Administer the Freight-Sheltered Income program while ensuring timely delivery of inside collect and backhaul shipments.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with PFG Best Practices to drive operational excellence.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial framework required to expand and scale the inbound logistics program.
- Coordinate activities across multiple Operating Companies (OpCos) and Logistics Managers within a defined region to ensure efficient and profitable movement of products.
- Collaborate with other Regional Logistics Managers to develop and maintain a strategic network plan utilizing both internal fleet and external transportation resources.
- Establish and monitor performance goals for individual OpCos and the region, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Identify and pursue backhaul opportunities to optimize fleet utilization and maximize cost savings.
- Analyze purchasing cycles to build optimal load consolidations that enhance revenue generation.
- Work closely with operations, transportation, and procurement teams to drive end-to-end supply chain efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-segment teams to identify and implement operational synergies across business units.
- Support broader departmental initiatives and assist other functional areas within the logistics team as needed.

Required Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
Required Experience: 2-4 years' experience in the Supply Chain field with an understanding of Freight expense as a Cost of Goods, Earned Income, managing relationships with Internal Opco functional areas, Vendors, and Customers.
