Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Local Sourcing Specialist II to support local and regional produce sourcing programs.

You will coordinate with growers, shippers, packers and internal partners to ensure timely execution, quality, and program accuracy. The role emphasizes field coordination, documentation, reporting, and issue escalation, with opportunities for travel within Southern Arizona to engage with suppliers and support program delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in produce sourcing or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of fresh produce supply chain and harvest cycles.
• Experience with supplier onboarding and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day sourcing activities for local/regional programs.
• Coordinate with growers, shippers, packers, field teams, and internal partners.
• Maintain trackers, records, timelines, and logs for visibility and execution.
• Monitor harvest and supply updates; escalate issues to Sourcing Manager.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, program setup, and supplier meetings.
• Participate in field visits and supplier meetings as needed.
• Support basic reporting of service levels and availability.
• Assist with analysis of supplier performance and risk.
