Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting seeks a Regional Hub Technician for the Greenville, SC area. The role involves maintenance, repair, and inspection of Musco warranty products in the field, with extensive travel and safety-focused operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating project timelines, producing field reports, and leading crews on service projects. A post-high school technical background and valid License are preferred, with CDL as a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education in mechanical or electrical trades or equivalent experience preferred.
• Electrical license or ability to obtain preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Drivers’ License required; Class A CDL preferred.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
• Basic computer, email, and internet skills for receiving work instructions and job reporting.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
• Comply with Federal DOT rules and regulations, including drug and alcohol testing under FRA rules and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco warranty product.
• Warranty repairs on lighting projects, including working from ladders and aerial lifts, climbing light poles and towers.
• Coordinate project timelines with customers, vendors, and resources.
• Maintain communication with Warranty Hub Manager about duties and schedules.
• Safe operation and regular inspection of aerial equipment assigned to the regional hub.
• Provide detailed written field reports and complete paperwork within one week.
• Packaging and shipment of RMAs for evaluation and testing.
• Provide leadership to crew and coordinate issues with vendors and customers on projects where PM responsibility is assigned.
• Drive Musco equipment on service projects; CDL may be required.
• Make daily expense-related (financial) decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
