Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting seeks a Regional Hub Technician for our Allentown, PA area to perform maintenance, repair and inspection of Musco warranty products in the field. This role requires travel, climbing poles/towers, and operating aerial lifts with strict safety compliance.

You will coordinate project timelines, document field reports, and communicate with the Warranty Hub Manager daily. A CDL and strong mechanical/electrical skills are essential, with travel concentrated within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education in mechanical or electrical trades or equivalent experience.
• Electrical license or ability to obtain license is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License is preferred.
• Basic electrical and mechanical skills and experience
• Excellent technical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
• Strong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervision
• Basic computer, email, and internet skills for receiving work instructions and job reporting
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology
• Comply with Federal DOT rules and regulations, including drug and alcohol testing under FRA rules and pre-employment checks

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco warranty product
• Warranty repairs on lighting projects; work from ladders, aerial lifts, and climb light poles/towers
• Coordinate time frames for projects with customers, vendors, equipment and people resources
• Maintain consistent communication with Warranty Hub Manager regarding daily duties and schedules
• Safe operation and regular inspection of Musco aerial equipment assigned to regional hub
• Provide detailed written field reports and complete paperwork within one week
• Packaging and shipment of RMA-related Musco parts for evaluation and testing
• Provide leadership to crew and coordinate issues with vendors and customers on projects with PM responsibility
• Drive and operate Musco equipment on service projects requiring CDL
• Make solid daily expense-related decisions
• Other duties as assigned
