Job summary

Cove Communities is seeking a Regional Lifestyle Manager to lead lifestyle programming across multiple community properties. You will partner with on-site managers and corporate teams to elevate resident experiences, standardize playbooks, and drive Cove Score improvements through thoughtful events and partnerships.

  • 3–5+ years in event planning or recreation management.
  • Experience in RV resort, campground, or manufactured housing industry preferred.
  • Strong guest-facing leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent logistics and multitasking across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe; familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
  • Experience with social media content creation (Meta Business Suite).
  • Willingness to travel 60–75% and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Own the quality, consistency and delivery of lifestyle programming within the assigned region.
  • Lead and execute 2–3 signature events per property per year.
  • Develop and maintain an annual lifestyle calendar across all properties.
  • Travel throughout the region to support on-site event setup, execution and breakdown.
  • Train and mentor on-site teams to uphold Cove standards and brand.
  • Share best practices and playbooks across communities to improve consistency.
  • Coordinate with marketing for newsletters and event promotion across channels.
  • Source, negotiate and manage regional contracts with vendors and entertainers.
  • Assist in budgeting and tracking expenses for lifestyle events.
  • Ensure events comply with health, safety, and permitting regulations.

Job description

The Regional Lifestyle Manager brings Cove’s mission to life by delivering engaging, memorable lifestyle experiences that foster community connection, enhance satisfaction, and drive long-term loyalty across our portfolio of manufactured home communities and RV resorts. Working in close partnership with on-site Community Managers, Lifestyle Coordinators, Corporate Marketing, and the Resident Excellence Manager, the Regional Lifestyle Manager standardizes programming, elevates the guest and resident experience, and directly supports each community’s Cove Score (NPS). This is a highly mobile, field-based role requiring 50–60% travel across the assigned Central region.

Event Programming & Execution

  • Regional Lifestyle Ownership: Own the quality, consistency, and delivery of lifestyle programming within the assigned region, ensuring each property reflects Cove’s core service standards and values.
  • Signature Events: Plan, coordinate, andleadthe on-site execution of two to three (2–3) major signature events per property per year within the region (e.g., welcome-back parties, seasonal celebrations, resident appreciation days).
  • Annual Lifestyle Calendar: Partner with on-site teams to develop, implement, and standardize a dynamic annual calendar of events, themed weekends, live entertainment, and recreational activities across all assigned properties.
  • On-Site Execution Support: Travel throughout the region to support the setup, execution, and breakdown of major events, ensuring every event meets Cove’s brand and quality standards.

Team Partnership & Enablement

  • Coordinator Support: Train, support, and mentor on-site Community Managers andLifestyleCoordinators to successfully execute daily localized programming andmaintainbrand standards.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Champion consistent playbooks and share best practices across communities to raise the overall quality and consistency of lifestyle delivery in the region.

Communications & Marketing

  • Newsletter Coordination: Coordinate with property teams and corporate marketing on community newsletters as needed to promote events and highlight lifestyle programming.
  • Event Promotion: Partner with marketing to support promotion of regional events through property apps,creationand design ofevent flyers, and localized social media to maximize participation.

Vendor, Budget & Compliance

  • Vendor & Entertainment Management: Source, negotiate, and manage regional contracts with food & beverage vendors, live bands, performers, decorators,communityvendors,and equipment rental suppliers.
  • Financial Management: Support the management of property lifestyle & events budget, track expenses,assistin annual budgeting process, andidentifyopportunities to drive value and revenue (e.g., private venue rentals, ticket sales, sponsorships).
  • Feedback & Compliance: Track event attendance, conduct post-event evaluations, analyze resident satisfaction metrics, and ensure all eventscomply withlocal health, safety, andpermittingregulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience in event planning, recreation management, cruise line entertainment, or multi-site resident/property activities.
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Direct experience in the RV resort, campground, or manufactured housing industry.
  • Community-Centric Mindset: A passionate, guest-facing leader who thrives on building relationships with diverse resident demographics, from family vacationers to active 55+ permanent residents.
  • Logistics& Organization: Elite multitasking skills with a proventrack recordof managing many moving parts across multiple physical locations simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Calendar,and creative/designsoftware such as Canva and Adobe.FamiliaritywithWord Pressis a plus.
  • Social Media: Experience creating contentand posting on social media via theMeta Business suite(i.e.Facebook& Instagram).
  • Event Photography(Preferred):Ability to take high-quality photos and videos using an iPhone or similar device for events, community activities, social media, and marketing purposes.
  • Abilityto travel 60–75% and to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Superb attention to detail, with exemplary written and spoken communication skills.
  • Identifyand resolve problemsefficientlywhile addressing conflicts effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-functional, demanding environment.
