Job summary

Yolo County Library seeks a Regional Manager to oversee a cluster of East Yolo branches, based primarily at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in West Sacramento.

You will report to the Assistant County Librarian and guide operations, budgets, and programs while advancing strategic goals. Responsibilities include staff performance evaluation, community needs assessment, and partnership cultivation with local organizations and Friends groups.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science, Library Information Services, or related field.
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional library experience, including one (1) year of branch operations coordination and/or supervisory experience.
• Valid California driver's license, Class C or higher.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a cluster of branches in the East Yolo Region (Yolo Branch, Arthur F. Turner Community Library, Knights Landing Branch, Clarksburg Branch).
• Lead the Library Leadership Team, developing policies concerning operations, budgets, and programs; drive strategic directions.
• Build partnerships with community stakeholders and the Friends of the Library; assess community needs and program outcomes.
