Job summary

Georgia Public Library Service oversees operations at four libraries in Cobb County's northwest region. Based at West Cobb Regional Library in Kennesaw, the role leads staff to cultivate talent, promote growth, encourage collaboration, and provide excellent service to Cobb residents.

The regional manager serves as a key liaison to library administration, offering feedback to support decision-making, and works with peer regional managers to drive change under the Division Director of Branch

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to cultivate talent, promote individual and team growth, encourage collaboration and teamwork, and provide excellent service to Cobb residents.
• Serve as a key liaison to library administration, providing feedback to assist in decision-making, ensuring staff are aware of and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Engage with a team of peer regional managers to effect change under the supervision of the Division Director of Branch Services.
• Based at West Cobb Regional Library in Kennesaw, frequenting other branches in the region to accomplish system and regional goals.
• Supervise four full-time branch managers and five part-time staff who can be assigned to work any location to fill staffing needs.
