Cobb County Government seeks a Regional Library Manager based in the West Cobb Regional Library in Kennesaw. The role oversees four libraries in the northwest region, guiding staff to deliver excellent service to Cobb residents.

The position requires a MLS from an ALA-accredited program, five years of library operations experience, and three years of supervisory leadership. Travel across branches is expected; supervision of branch managers and staff is included.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Library Science & Information Science from an ALA-accredited university.
• Five (5) years of progressively professional library operations/administration experience.
• Three (3) years lead or supervisory experience in the field.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operations of four library branches in the northwest Cobb County region.
• Supervise four full-time branch managers and five part-time staff.
• Develop goals and objectives for library programs and community outreach.
• Provide customer service leadership and respond to patron questions and issues.
• Manage budget, staffing, and resource allocation for assigned area.
