Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science & Information Science from an ALA-accredited university is required, plus five years of progressively responsible library operations/administration experience and at least three years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead teams and manage programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations of four library branches and supervises staff, ensuring adherence to policies and high service standards.
• Directs workload, assigns tasks, trains staff, monitors progress, and resolves issues across multiple locations.
• Develops goals for library programs, allocates resources, and coordinates facility management to meet objectives.
• Provides excellent customer service, assists patrons, and handles inquiries and problems related to library services.
