Job summary

Cobb County Government seeks a Regional Library Manager to oversee four libraries in the northwest region. You will lead staff, foster growth, encourage collaboration, and ensure excellent service to Cobb residents.

Based at West Cobb Regional Library in Kennesaw, you will travel to other branches, supervise four full‑time branch managers and five part‑time staff, and partner with the Division Director of Branch Services to achieve system goals.

Responsibilities

• Manages, directs and evaluates staff, including performance appraisals and discipline.
• Oversees operations of multiple branches; assigns work and monitors progress.
• Develops goals for library programs; oversees programming and resource allocation.
• Provides customer service to patrons; resolves questions and complaints.
• Selects and develops library materials; coordinates orders.
• Outreach to promote library services and build partnerships.
• Monitors budget; participates in hiring decisions and reporting.
• Performs routine circulation and upkeep tasks at branches.
