Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lean Transformation Leader to drive Lean Business System standards across a regional area and improve operational performance. The role leads end-to-end value streams in Patient Services, Laboratories, Logistics, and other core functions, developing a portfolio of initiatives to lift productivity and reduce costs.

You will coach teams in Lean Six Sigma principles, enable continuous improvement, and apply standard work and problem-solving methods.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cross-functional roles applying Lean methodologies across production and transactional environments.
• Proven Lean Six Sigma leadership with multiple Kaizen events driving KPI improvements.
• Experience applying Lean tools such as Std Work, DMS, Problem Solving, and VSM.
• Ability to mentor and coach stakeholder teams on Lean concepts and change management.
• Healthcare or manufacturing domain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify Lean initiatives across end-to-end value streams and define business impact.
• Lead complex Lean initiatives through charter, program development, implementation and sustainment.
• Demonstrate expertise in standard Lean toolkit usage and data analysis.
• Engage senior leadership for support and participation in transformation initiatives.
• Foster a culture of problem solving and employee ownership in continuous improvement.
• Provide training on Lean concepts to functional teams.
• Apply change management strategies to implement standard work.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety/quality standards.
