Job summary

Midway Products Group, INC is seeking a Regional Operations Improvement Manager to lead continuous improvement across the manufacturing network. You will drive cost savings, waste elimination, and value stream optimization while supporting plant teams and potentially covering Plant Manager duties during openings.

You will apply Lean tools, manage projects to completion, and develop reports on downtime and throughput, partnering with Plant Managers and Area Managers to achieve MOS objectives and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and project management skills and experience.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to improve performance on existing plant operations.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement cost saving opportunities to achieve LTA targets.
• Utilize Lean tools to drive continuous improvement: Hoshin cell design, Kanban/Pull Systems, 5S, SMED, Work Combination, Standardized work, TPS, Value Stream mapping, Process mapping.
• Develop and implement SMED approach for Midway operating system.
• Institutionalize the program at all plant locations with targeted 15 minute changeovers on all press types.
• Drive substantial press throughput improvements to offset growth and defer new presses.
• Develop MOS throughput objectives and facilitate Lean Tools training for Plant Managers and Team Leaders
• Create reports detailing downtime causes, inefficiencies, and action plans.
