Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Regional Leadless Specialist for field-based work in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Leadless division, covering the Boston, MA / Springfield, MA / Hartford, CT area. You will drive therapy adoption, provide clinical and educational support, and collaborate with customers to ensure procedural success.

The role requires 3+ years in medical devices, CRM experience, and strong communication skills, with significant travel across sites to educate and support clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, engineering) or equivalent/related experience.
• Minimum 3 years clinical medical device experience or equivalent, ideally with CRM products.
• A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
• Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively.
• High-level of comfort in navigating the medical environment, labs and hospital settings.
• Proven success displaying confidence in leading & influencing customers; provide guidance to course correct as needed.
• Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
• Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with common PC programs such as Microsoft Office.
• This position requires substantial business travel.

Responsibilities

• Educates physicians, nurses, educators, and other health care providers on indications and patient selection for leadless pacing.
• Provide procedural support per instructions for use and trial protocol to ensure consistency and best clinical outcomes.
• Assist in education and training activities for Abbott personnel.
• Stay informed on clinical data regarding leadless CRM products.
• Coordinate and deliver programs and resources to expand market access.
• Provide market intelligence for therapy training and expansion plans.
• Liaise with marketing for product feedback and improvements.
• Complete administrative reporting as assigned.
• Plan and organize work efficiently and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and practices.
