Job summary
Mott MacDonald seeks a Principal Wastewater Engineer to lead and grow our wastewater discipline across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. This senior role combines client and account leadership with technical oversight and project delivery from planning through construction.
The successful candidate will develop trusted relationships with municipal utilities and public agencies, identify and shape opportunities, and guide complex wastewater projects to successful completion.
Qualifications
- Requires a civil/environmental/chemical engineering degree with PE licensure.
- 15+ years in municipal wastewater engineering with leadership experience.
- Proven ability to grow municipal wastewater client accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead growth strategies for priority wastewater clients and regional accounts.
- Oversee project delivery, scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Mentor project managers and technical staff.
- Lead proposals, client interviews and strategic business development.
- Provide technical leadership in wastewater treatment planning and design.
- Manage relationships with utilities and public agencies.
