Job summary

ControlTech Solutions, a division of Intech Mechanical, is seeking an experienced Lead Controls Service Technician to oversee BAS projects in the Greater Sacramento Area from our Roseville headquarters. You will mentor technicians, drive field operations, and collaborate with projects, engineering, and sales to ensure safe, efficient delivery and high-quality results.

The role emphasizes developing customer partnerships, leading regional growth, and representing our open-architecture BAS

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of commercial Building Automation Systems experience.
• Extensive commercial HVAC knowledge.
• Advanced BAS troubleshooting experience.
• Startup and commissioning experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid California Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial Building Automation Systems.
• Perform startup, commissioning, and functional performance testing.
• Configure controllers, field devices, and BAS networks.
• Verify HVAC sequences of operation.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, sensors, actuators, controllers, VFDs, and communication networks.
• Support programming implementation and controller replacements.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
• Complete accurate service documentation and commissioning reports.
• Deliver exceptional workmanship while maintaining company quality standards.
