Job summary

TRUMPF is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Northern California and the states of Oregon and Washington to drive sales of OEM lasers and laser-based systems. You will generate leads, qualify opportunities, and work toward yearly sales goals.

Requires experience selling technology-driven capital equipment, laser knowledge, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 50% is expected; base salary is $65,000–$75,000 plus commissions; CRM proficiency and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Firm experience in selling technology driven capital equipment.
• Must have technical knowledge of laser technology and systems and their processes.
• Associates degree is required, Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical field strongly preferred or combination of training and work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Represent TRUMPF Laser Division in front of customers in Northern California and the states of Oregon and Washington and own customer care before and after the sale.
• Achieve sales and revenue targets for the region; manage lead generation and qualification.
• Sell TRUMPF laser sources, optics, systems, and additive manufacturing products.
• Coordinate with external partners and integrators; initiate marketing activities.
• Maintain CRM records, reports on calls, projects, visits, and orders.
• Adhere to company guidelines and plan actions based on country strategy.
