Job summary

Small Potato Trucking is seeking drivers for a rescue lane. Selected drivers will lend help when there are not enough drivers to pull the lane. Freight is a mixture of no-touch, driver assist and tarping. $40.00 per hour straight, 50 hours per week guaranteed.

Candidates must have Hazmat endorsement or be willing to obtain it, be at least 21 years old with CDL-A and a current DOT medical card; forklift experience or willingness to train is required. Benefits are described in the listing.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents/violations in 3 years.
• Verifiable trailer driving experience appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Lend help as a rescue lane driver when available drivers are short.
• Operate a mix of no-touch, driver assist, and tarping freight.
• Be willing to use a forklift or receive training.

Drivers should be able to use a forklift or be willing to be trained in their use

QUALIFICATIONS

• Drivers must be able to pass a drug test. SAP candidates are not accepted
• Must have a clean driving record with NO more than 2 accidents OR violations within the last 3 years.
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good record employment and driving according to the type of driver, either experienced or graduate.
• Drivers must be at least 21 year old; have a valid CDL-A license and a current DOT medical card
