Job summary

Small Potato Trucking in Indiana is seeking drivers for a dedicated rescue lane. Selected drivers will lend help when there are not enough drivers to pull the lane, earning $40 per hour straight, with 50 hours per week guaranteed. Freight is a mix of no-touch, driver assist and tarping.

Hazmat endorsement is required or eligible for company help. Candidates must pass a drug test (SAP candidates not accepted), be at least 21, have a valid CDL-A and a current DOT medical card, and maintain a clean

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test; SAP candidates not accepted.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in the last 3 years.
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record.

Responsibilities

• Lend support on a rescue lane when extra drivers are needed.
• Handle no-touch, driver assist and tarping freight as required.

Job description

This particular lane is a rescue lane. Selected drivers will lend help when there are not enough drivers to pull the lane. $40.00 per hour straight, 50 hours per week guaranteed

Freight is a mixture of no-touch, driver assist and tarping.

Drivers are expected to have Hazmat endorsement, if they do not have it, we can help.-

Drivers should be able to use a forklift or be willing to be trained in their use

QUALIFICATIONS

• Drivers must be able to pass a drug test. SAP candidates are not accepted
• Must have a clean driving record with NO more than 2 accidents OR violations within the last 3 years.
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good record employment and driving according to the type of driver, either experienced or graduate.
• Drivers must be at least 21 year old; have a valid CDL-A license and a current DOT medical card
• drivers must have hazmat endorsement or be willing to get it
