Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a closely related field from a program accredited by NAACLS or equivalent accrediting body.
• Minimum 4 years of MLS/CLS experience performing non-waived testing.
• Experience in laboratory training, technical leadership, or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Current MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA), MT(AMT), or equivalent credential; or eligibility to sit for exam.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver technical training across assigned regional sites, ensuring consistency with Interpath standards.
• Serve in CLIA-defined regulatory roles (Technical Supervisor/General Supervisor/Technical Consultant) per 42 CFR 493.
• Accept Laboratory Director designee for waived/moderate-complexity sites where permitted.
• Perform the full range of laboratory testing provided by Interpath (Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulation).
• Ensure accurate processing and testing of specimens; evaluate cells and microorganisms.
• Operate complex automated equipment and LIS software; apply emerging diagnostic technologies.
• Report findings to pathologists and healthcare providers; maintain quality control programs.
• Lead evaluation and integration of new lab technologies and AI-assisted workflows; support training delivery.
