Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Regional Manager K-9 CONUS to oversee Supervisors, Handlers, and Canines ensuring TSA and commercial regulatory compliance across the cargo screening program.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, and maintaining certification requirements while traveling up to 50%+ to contract locations nationwide. Ability to work varied shifts and inclement conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience training and managing canines and teams in explosive detection.
• Three years of documented experience handling an explosive detection dog in operational settings.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to obtain Known Traveler Number (KTN) within 4–6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train assigned Supervisors, Handlers, and Canines across North America.
• Manage post assignments, schedules, and vacation relief for canine teams.
• Coordinate training, recertifications, and remedial programs.
• Maintain training records and canine care standards.
• Develop and follow SOPs and statements of work.
• Travel nationwide up to 50%+ to contract locations.
• Operate and drive company vehicle as needed.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and propose solutions.
