Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Regional IT Site Support Team Lead (East) to oversee on-site IT support across the Americas East region from Blacksburg, VA.

You will report to the Manager, Global IT Service Desk and Site Support and manage a first-shift team on-site in Blacksburg, VA. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS with 5+ years in tech and at least a year in people leadership, or 8 years’ experience in lieu of a degree, plus ITSM/ITIL familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS with at least 5 years in a tech role and at least 1 year as a people leader.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 8 years of experience including team leadership.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management; ITIL v4 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite IT support activities for the designated geographic region, supervising a team located at multiple facilities.
• Assign work to IT Support Technicians based on locale and skillset.
• Establish, document, and revise standard operating procedures for the team.
• Serve as escalation point for technology support issues for site technicians and site leadership in the region.
