Job summary

The Assistant IT Manager at Great Hearts Academies oversees daily technology operations across North Texas campuses, guiding IT Technicians and aligning district initiatives with instructional goals. You will ensure reliable, secure technology services for students, teachers, and staff while supporting deployments, inventory, and campus projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years of supervisory experience in K-12 tech, strong communication, and knowledge of Google Admin Console, Microsoft 365,

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in a K-12 IT setting.
• Experience with Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and endpoint management.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and school regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Manager with daily technology operations across multiple campuses.
• Mentor IT Technicians and coordinate regional coverage for projects and support.
• Oversee device deployments, inventory, and campus technology initiatives.
• Maintain security, procedures, and high-quality customer service for staff and students.
