Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an Intermodal Driver in the Savannah, GA area to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. Expect mostly no-touch 95% with 85% drop-and-hook, and driving in/out of railyards across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA.

You will be paid mileage and load pay plus hourly on duty, with paid orientation, PTO after 6 months and a yearly bonus up to 3% of gross pay. Military benefits are also highlighted.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• Residence within 50 miles of Savannah, GA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate 95% no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA.
