Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an experienced intermodal driver to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis across railyards in AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN. Expect mostly no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook, and reliable pay including mileage, load and on-duty hourly pay.

Benefits include paid orientation, time off after 6 months, holiday pay, and an annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay. CDL, tanker/HazMat endorsements and proximity to Charlotte, NC are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Live within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 90% no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN.
