Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for intermodal hauling of freight containers. You’ll operate company-owned chassis with 100% no-touch freight and heavy drop-and-hook activity, driving in and out of railyards across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, and VA.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class A CDL, with tanker preferred and HazMat within 90 days of hire. Minimum 3 months of experience and a 100-mile radius of Jacksonville, FL are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 100 miles of Jacksonville, FL.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 100% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA.
