Job summary

Safran is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage and source the local and regional indirect supply base across facilities in the U.S. territory (KY, OH, AL, GA, NH, NY). You will oversee the full procurement lifecycle from requirements to contract execution and supplier performance.

This role requires strong negotiation, contract knowledge, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams; travel between facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, operations management, or related field.
• 3–5 years procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience in indirect purchasing and cross-functional sourcing projects.
• International procurement experience preferred.
• Engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and administer indirect purchasing agreements.
• Source and develop value-driving supplier base.
• Lead regional sourcing plans across indirect segments.
• Manage savings tracking and reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities.
