Job summary

Special Olympics Kansas, Inc. is seeking a Regional Health Program Coordinator to implement Inclusive Health initiatives across North Central Kansas.

You will build partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community groups to expand access to health programming for individuals with IDD and coordinate Healthy Athletes and related activities in the region. The role emphasizes program coordination, volunteer engagement, data reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to meet grant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in program coordination, outreach, nonprofit operations, healthcare, or related fields preferred.
• Experience developing partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, volunteers, or external stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating programs/events with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience recruiting or managing volunteers preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with IDD, healthcare organizations, nonprofit organizations, or community-based programs preferred.
• Experience collecting, tracking, and reporting program data and performance metrics preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations.
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate Inclusive Health programming.
• Coordinate Healthy Athletes screenings and health initiatives; manage logistics and volunteers.
• Support youth and community health initiatives through schools and local partners.
• Recruit, engage, and retain volunteers and clinical partners.
• Coordinate healthcare education and outreach with providers and community.
