Job summary

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Gainesville, FL. This on-site role supports multiple communities, ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet company standards.

You will diagnose, repair, maintain and install HVAC equipment while delivering excellent resident service. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, on-call rotations, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• EPA Type II certification required.
• HVAC system knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Residential HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including split systems, package units and heat pumps.
• Respond to service requests and document service history.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with residents and on-call rotation.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.

The HVAC Technician is an expert at diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC equipment while providing exceptional customer service to residents.
