Job summary

Accela Healthcare is hiring a Regional Commercial HVAC Specialist to support multiple facilities across New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and air handlers, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will travel between sites, work with facility leadership, and provide preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance, contributing to residents’ comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience servicing RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust and make-up air systems.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
• Ability to participate in emergency and after-hours service calls.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities.
• Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust systems, and make-up air units.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency HVAC service calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Work closely with Regional Maintenance Directors and facility leadership.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations.
