Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) seeks an HR Regional Manager for the Upstate and Pee Dee regions to oversee HR services for regional facilities and support workforce needs. The role travels routinely and reports to the HR Field Operations Director.

You will lead HR Liaisons, coordinate with Central HR, and ensure compliance with state and federal policies across regions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and relevant human resources experience.
• A master’s degree in human resources management may substitute for the required experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee HR services for regional facilities.
• Partner with regional managers on recruitment and retention of staff.
• Collaborate with Central HR for operational updates and serve as liaison for complex employee issues.
• Hire, train and manage HR Liaisons assigned to the regions.
• Travel routinely throughout the assigned regions.
