Job summary

The State of North Carolina's Department of Adult Correction seeks a Business Officer II – Region Office, based at the Eastern Region Office in Greenville, NC, to oversee administrative services for HR and Fiscal operations across 13 facilities. You will supervise regional staff, coordinate budgets, and ensure regional practices align with state regulations and departmental standards.

This role reports to the Eastern Region Director, travels throughout North Carolina, and serves as a key liaison

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related discipline.
• Three years of progressive related experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative systems for Accounting, HR, and Fiscal operations.
• Lead regional budget preparation and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with HR, fiscal, and policy standards.
• Serve as liaison between Division leadership and facility staff.
