Job summary

Prestige is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Human Resource Consultant to lead HR operations across VA and DC skilled nursing facilities. You will partner with facility leaders to ensure staffing, compliance, and strong HR practices while traveling regularly between sites.

Ideal candidates bring healthcare HR expertise, multi-site oversight experience, and certification in HR. This role requires travel and a valid driver's license, with DC knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with 2-3 years in a multi-site/ regional role.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care; healthcare HR preferred.
• Familiarity with VA Dept. of Health requirements; DC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong employment-law knowledge, FMLA/ADA, workers' comp, and regulatory HR.
• Travel regularly across VA and DC; this is not a remote role.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR partner to facility administrators and executive leadership across VA/DC region.
• Ensure staffing, compliance, onboarding, orientation, and training at multiple sites.
• Manage employee relations investigations, discipline, and terminations with leadership.
• Oversee benefits, leave management, compensation, and regulatory reporting.
• Visit facilities regularly to assess HR practices, culture, and compliance.
