Job summary

YQN Logistics is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner based in Fontana, CA to partner with site leaders across the West Coast. The role focuses on workforce planning, employee relations, performance, compliance, and retention for frontline teams in multiple sites.

You will drive hiring plans, onboarding for new sites, and the rollout of standardized HR policies while ensuring CA wage-and-hour compliance and collaboration with legal counsel as needed. Willingness to travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years as an HRBP supporting multiple sites or a region.
• Experience supporting frontline workforces in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. and California employment law, including wage-and-hour rules.
• Strong data skills (Excel, HRIS reporting) and the ability to turn metrics into action.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning with Operations, including headcount, staffing models, labor cost, and seasonal peaks.
• Manage employee relations across sites: conduct and document workplace investigations, coach managers on corrective action, and resolve escalations.
• Ensure HR practices comply with federal and state employment laws (including California wage-and-hour rules), and partner with legal counsel as needed.
• Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, time-to-fill, and engagement; recommend and drive action plans.
• Drive retention and engagement programs for frontline and supervisory employees.
• Coach and develop site managers and supervisors on performance management, feedback, and people leadership.
• Partner with Recruiting on hiring plans for new sites and high-volume roles; support onboarding and new-site launches.
• Standardize HR policies, processes, and SOPs across sites in the region.
• Support compensation reviews, promotions, and organizational changes.

About The Role

Based in Fontana, CA, the Regional HRBP will be the strategic and hands-on HR partner for site leaders across our West Coast warehouse and transportation locations. • Working knowledge of U.S. and California employment law, including wage-and-hour rules.

• Ability to influence and coach leaders in a fast-paced, changing environment.


• Willingness to travel between sites up to 30%.


• Mandarin speaking preferred.


• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR is a plus.

Work Location

On-site in Fontana, CA, with regular travel to regional sites.

Pay

$100,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience.
