Job summary

Great Hearts Academies in Louisiana seeks a Regional HR Business Partner to deliver strategic HR support across multiple academies. You will lead workforce planning, partner with school leaders, and ensure compliant people practices aligned with our core values.

The role is grant-funded through Sept 30, 2030, with weekly on-site activity in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, LA, and occasional national travel for trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM Certification preferred.
• 3+ years of general Human Resources experience.
• Strong MS Office skills; Workday and Adobe Acrobat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and payroll/benefits questions.
• Coordinate workforce planning for assigned schools to support annual and mid-year planning.
• Advise school leaders on staff management including performance, compensation and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws and Great Hearts policies.
• Partner with People Teams to develop and implement HR solutions for academies.
• Travel weekly within Louisiana and occasional national travel as needed.
