Job summary

Amazon in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide HR generalist support to a large hourly population and business leaders. You’ll partner with leaders to drive talent management, employee engagement, and internal customer service, using data-driven insights to impact business outcomes.

Onsite work is required. The role balances strategic initiatives with tactical HR processes, including performance management and culture initiatives, to foster an inclusive, high-performing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources or equivalent experience across operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Experience supporting and/or leading employee-focused processes such as onboarding, benefits, investigations, training and/or talent management.

Responsibilities

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns, addressing root causes, and ensuring fair policy application.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and implement proactive solutions at the site level.
• Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs; maintain floor presence to gather insights.
• Coach leaders on people management practices including performance feedback and development.
• Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement.
• Drive adoption of HR technology solutions and AI to enhance user experience and efficiency.
